We had phone lines like that in the UK before the internet too. They were quite popular with adolescent males too, the numbers generally started with 0898, and by all accounts the women taking calls looked exactly like that.
We had the same in Australia to with 1800 numbers. Not so sure that many of those women looked that nice, but, what you don’t see can’t hurt you..haha
